In September 2019, we welcomed two new placement students to CRAE.

Julie Cumin joined CRAE for a 2-month research placement from the University of Montreal and was working with PhD student Jana Brinkert on evaluating a mindfulness intervention program for autistic adults.

Jade Davies is joining for a one-year placement from The University of Manchester. Among other projects, Jade will work with Maria Ashworth and Laura Crane on the Research Passport, a tool that autistic people can use to share their personal needs and experiences before taking part in research projects. Jade is also interested to learn more about science communication and outreach from the CRAE team.
