CRAE’s Laura Crane and colleagues have published a new paper in Autism: The International Journal of Research and Practice on parents’ experiences of talking about autism with their children. The results showed that most parents told their autistic children about their diagnosis, felt satisfied with the process and were confident in talking about autism. Yet, parents also mentioned that deciding when and how to tell their children about their autism diagnosis could be difficult. The article is free to view for a limited time: https://bit.ly/2Ue49oh
