Annual Health Checks Survey

Are you a healthcare professional involved in annual healthcare checkups for autistic people? If so, would you like to take part in a short survey?

Autistic people, on average, have worse health outcomes than the general population. Annual health checks have been suggested as one way to improve health outcomes. We want to understand the barriers and facilitators involved in implementing annual health checks for this group so we can develop adequate support for primary health care professionals.

Who can take part?

We are inviting GPs, nurses and other primary health care professionals in England who are involved in the implementation of other health checks (e.g., learning disability health checks, diabetes annual reviews etc.) to take part in a short survey about their views.

By taking part, participants have the chance to shape policy recommendations and provide their opinions regarding the implementation of annual health checks for autistic people.

Participants do not require any expertise in autism. You can register your interest in taking part, here: https://bit.ly/ahc-register-interest
